History:Since 1973, Saskatchewan Regional Colleges have been meeting the needs of people and communities throughout the province, offering people a different way to learn. And for many, Regional Colleges represent a better way to learn. Saskatchewan Regional Colleges provide the opportunity to access post-secondary education and training right in your own community. Carlton Trail Regional College (CTRC), with its head office located in Humboldt, Saskatchewan, is one of 9 regional colleges in the province. The College has regional offices and campuses located in Davidson, Southey, Watrous, and Wynyard. Our Mission Statement:To identify and provide quality education, training and career services to enhance personal and community development.Communities:Carlton Trail Regional College retains a presence with the Saskatchewan Council for Community Development (SCCD), Prairie Implement Manufacturers Association (PIMA), local Chamber of Commerce, Rural Service Centres, Regional Health Authorities, Rural Municipalities, Saskatchewan Tourism Educational Council (STEC), Saskatchewan Women's Agriculture Network (SWAN), the Saskatchewan Labour Force Development Board (SLFDB), the Learning Resources Network (LERN), and the Association of Canadian Community Colleges (ACCC). For the seventh consecutive year, the College coordinated the Community Access Project (CAP) for Saskatchewan CAP sites. The youth employment program focused on the development of community web pages and the sustainability of CAP sites. Each year, Carlton Trail Regional College delivers programs to over 5500 students in over 50 communities in east-central Saskatchewan. Education and training opportunities provided by the College are designed to meet the needs of business and communities. Graduate employment rates consistently exceed 85%. Carlton Trail Regional College is accredited by Saskatchewan Post-Secondary Education and Skills Training. |
