Effective September 15, 2009, everyone operating a pleasure craft fitted with a motor and used for recreational purposes must hold a Pleasure Craft Operator (PCO) card. Get your certification today! Our offices have Study Guides available, and if you wish, call us to make arrangements to challenge the BOAT Exam. |

You will receive training in gerontology; dementia management strategies, promoting independence in a safe environment, working with people from all cultures with different levels of physical and cognitive impairment, giving personal care, and much more. Formerly known as Home Care/Special Care Aide, this program provides knowledge and skill development in helping people help themselves in their homes and in special care facilities. |

Description: |
This course includes First Aid & CPR Guidelines 2005, and meets OHS regulations for Standard First Aid. These are comprehensive first aid & CPR techniques for those who need training for work requirements, or who want more knowledge to respond to emergencies in the workplace or home. We cover a variety of topics from basic (such as cardiovascular and breathing emergencies, CPR Level C, prevention of disease transmission) to in-depth topics, such as sudden medical conditions and injuries to the head and spine. The course now includes AED (Automated External Defibrillation) certification. Make your home, school or workplace a safer place! |
