Carlton Trail Regional College offers great safety training options. Our certified trainers are industry recognized, and all classes meet Occupational Heath & Safety Standards. We have regularly scheduled and customized traning to fit your needs.



B.O.A.T. Challenge Exam | Southey
Description: Effective September 15, 2009, everyone operating a pleasure craft fitted with a motor and used for recreational purposes must hold a Pleasure Craft Operator (PCO) card. Get your certification today! Our offices have Study Guides available, and if you wish, call us to make arrangements to challenge the BOAT Exam.
Fees: $40 (includes exam and licensing fee)

Construction Safety Training System - CSTS | Southey

Interactive video computer system that trains you in the basics of construction safety.

Program requires 100% mastery of 12 Lessons.

Many of our programs as well as several local construction worksites now require official construction safety training.

Cost $65 + GST

Continuing Care Assistant | Raymore
Description: You will receive training in gerontology; dementia management strategies, promoting independence in a safe environment, working with people from all cultures with different levels of physical and cognitive impairment, giving personal care, and much more. Formerly known as Home Care/Special Care Aide, this program provides knowledge and skill development in helping people help themselves in their homes and in special care facilities.
Location: Raymore
Start Date: September 17, 2012
Pre-requisites: Saskatchewan Grade 12.
Personally and physically suitable & criminal record check & record of immunization.

Red Cross First Aid/CPR with AED | Southey
Description: This course includes First Aid & CPR Guidelines 2005, and meets OHS regulations for Standard First Aid. These are comprehensive first aid & CPR techniques for those who need training for work requirements, or who want more knowledge to respond to emergencies in the workplace or home. We cover a variety of topics from basic (such as cardiovascular and breathing emergencies, CPR Level C, prevention of disease transmission) to in-depth topics, such as sudden medical conditions and injuries to the head and spine. The course now includes AED (Automated External Defibrillation) certification. Make your home, school or workplace a safer place!
Dates & Times: May 24, 2013; 6:30 - 10:30 pm
May 25 & 26, 2013; 9 am - 5 pm
Fees: $174 (includes materials)
