This course provides simple First Aid & CPR technique taught in an interactive environment, for individuals who want an overview of First Aid & CPR for the home or workplace. The course covers skills needed to recognize and respond to cardiovascular emergencies for adults, CPR, and other topics such as choking, airway and breathing emergencies, and prevention of disease transmission. |

Practical Nursing is a diploma program. Gain the knowledge and skill development required to provide professional nursing care. Graduates are eligible to write the national licensure examination for registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Saskatchewan. Practical Nurses may find employment in diverse health care settings, such as acute care hospitals, medical centres, home care facilities, and extended care facilities. |

As part of the registration process, a criminal records check is required. As well, proof of medical fitness, immunization history, and a current Standard First Aid/CPR "C/AED certification are required prior to final acceptance into the program.
